Mid-summer News

Hi everyone

It has been an incredible summer so far – I celebrated my wedding anniversary on the river in the rain, attended an amazing workshop with Artemis Mourat and Amel Tafsout at Crossroads & Origins, performing with Circus Combustus at our fundraiser for Burning Man and taught my new Orientale choreography in Chattanooga.

If you missed the incredible Crossroads & Origins show – you can watch it here!

My plans for another jaunt to Burning Man are underway but I am also preparing for our Summer Showcase at Nicola’s happening Sunday August 11. This showcase will feature predominately solo works from the Awalim apprentices, Banat Almeh, – Ziah and I will contribute a performance or two as well! Tickets for this are $20 and includes dinner.

I still have class running through the first of August at Muse for Life – drop-ins are welcome in the 7pm class. I’ll be taking a break after this session then new classes at Muse for Life will resume on Wednesday September 24th – I will also begin a new session at Atlanta Fusion Belly Dance on Thursdays starting September 19th. More info on that coming soon!
